Finding the right cleaning company

My mother is of the age where she needs to have help with cleaning her house. She is unable to clean her two storey home by herself because there are stairs to climb and she is unable to lift a heavy vacuum all over the house. She also has carpeted floors that need constant vacuuming and cleaning because she also has a cat and a dog that shed hair all over the furniture.

She has a large house with three bedrooms and a finished basement with a fireplace, living room and bathrooms on each level of the house. Because my mother is a senior citizen I looked for a cleaning company that had a set rate specifically for that.

one of the biggest problems with cleaning companies is that before I hire one for my mother, etI make sure and check them out first with a one time cleaning so that I can see if my mother approves of the company before I sign any contract with them.

The first line of defense I use is my mothers approval because she is always present when someone cleans her house and has to get along with the people cleaning the house otherwise she just won’t want them back.

One of the most important things about a cleaning company is the fact that their staff are friendly and accomodating to customers needs as each person wants to see their home cleaned a certain way, especially my mother. My mother even cleans her house before a maid service shows up because she doesn’t want them thinking she is a sloppy housekeeper, which is what they are there for in the first place.

Once I find a reliable cleaning company and my mother approves of how they clean and have the right personalities, I will then sign a recurring monthly cleaning contract.
